The Tide amassed 621 yards of total offense and scored 52 points, which is the most ever scored by an Alabama team in a National Championship game. Smith finished the game with 12 catches for 215 yards and Jones completed 36 of 45 passes for 464 yards and 5 touchdowns to roll the Buckeyes for a record setting National Championship.
