It was April 4th, 1994 in Charlotte NC, the No. 2 Arkansas Razorbacks
faced the No. 6 Duke Blue Devils. After trailing by 10 early in the second
half, Arkansas called a timeout with 1:29 left with the score tied 70-70.
Scotty Thurman, who made 102 threes that season, quickly gathered a
pass from Dwight Stewart and launched a high-arching shot that hit the
bottom of the net with 51 seconds remaining with Arkansas leading 73-
70. The Razorbacks went on to win the 1994 National Championship
over the Blue Devils 76-72.
