Stop and Go

In 2005, USC’s Reggie Bush set a conference record with 513 all purpose yards, including nearly 300 rushing yards against Fresno State but one play stands out amongst the countless highlights. Bush takes the handoff at midfield, cuts through the line of scrimmage and sprinted down the left sideline. As the defender closed in on an angle, he used the stop and go move, leaving the Bulldog defender grasping for air. Bush then accelerates away, crossing the field untouched into the end zone.
